This is another beautiful story that also teaches great lessons about having a dog in your home. The illustrations are perfectly suited to each page and add so much to the story. I especially like that the 2 dogs are adopted together and the fact that both one dog and the young boy have hearing loss. So many lessons in this book and I love the last page summarizing the lessons and giving the opportunity for further discussion.
